How Our Courts Work
At Bundaberg Netball Association, we are committed to providing a safe and well- organised environment for players, officials and spectators.
Please take a moment to
review the following important information regarding court procedures.
Umpire Safety
Umpire safety is a paramount concern.
Spectators are kindly asked to refrain from occupying the blue area surrounding the court, as this space is exclusively
designated for umpires.
Home and Away Games
If your team is designated as the home team, you are required to stand in the sub- box positioned closest to the clubhouse.
Home and away team designations are determined via the Netball Connect app.
Additionally, if live scoring is being conducted, the team responsible for live scoring will be considered the home team.
Scorers
On Saturdays, two scorers will be appointed for each game:
👉 One responsible for electronic scoring
👉 One responsible for manual scoring
Both scorers are required to occupy the central position of the court, regardless of whether they are seated in the grandstand or positioned near the fence.
Court Restrictions
The use of bicycles or scooters on the courts is strictly prohibited.
Any individual operating such equipment on the courts will be directed to relocate to an appropriate area.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
